SUMMER 2020 MINI DANCE CAMPS!
Welcome back! Our Summer 2020 MINI DANCE Dance Camps are a fun way to get back into dance after the covid-19 studio closure. Camps are designed to encourage creativity through the exploration of dance, arts, crafts and music instructed by Sound Movement Arts Center staff and Guest Instructors.

You and your child’s safety is at the forefront of our minds, always. We want to reassure you that we are taking every measure possible to maintain a clean and healthy studio environment.
Note: Camps, Dates and Times are subject to change/cancellation. *A new signed waiver will be required before returning to in-person classes at SMAC of any kind. **Space is VERY limited in each camp to provide a safe and healthy experience as well as the highest level of Dance Instruction possible for each child. Sign your kiddo up quickly, before classes fill up!
FANTASY MINI DANCE CAMP (Fairies, Unicorns and Mermaids)
Ages 4-5 & 6-7 (IN-PERSON & VIRTUAL)
DATES: July 20-22, 2020 | M-W
ACRO, HIP HOP, TAP
MORNING SESSION: 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM (AGES 4-5)
AFTERNOON SESSION: 12 – 1:30 PM (AGES 6-7)

Just past Fairyland Forest and next to the lagoon, our Fantasy Land of Fairies, Unicorns and Mermaids are waiting to DANCE with you! With glitter and imagination, our dances will have you sailing over the rainbow for an unforgettable experience!
Camp will include 1 theme-based take home craft!
What To Bring: Water | Dance Shoes
*Students do NOT need to have all forms of dance shoes, come with Jazz or Ballet shoes and Sneakers. Tap shoes are optional.

Get back to DANCE in these LIVE, EXCLUSIVE SMALL classes geared towards dancers who can no longer stand VIRTUAL classes. 😉 Dancers will learn a new style of dance each day, including warm-up, progressions and choreography. Reignite your passion for DANCE in this camp. Limited class sizes. Personal instruction in an inviting environment. *Virtual class options via ZOOM are available, for those not yet comfortable joining in-person. =)

FROZEN MINI DANCE CAMP
Ages 4-5 & 6-7 (IN-PERSON & VIRTUAL)

BALLET, JAZZ, LYRICAL
MORNING SESSION: 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM (AGES 4-5)
AFTERNOON SESSION: 12 – 1:30 PM (AGES 6-7)

Join Anna, Elsa, Olaf and all of the Frozen friends for a spectacular mini camp! Your little one will have a chilling blast of fun dances, exciting crafts, and great friendships. Each day we will visit the story of Frozen and meet new friends including Olaf, Sven, the Ice Monster, and of course Anna & Elsa.
*Dancers are welcome to dress up in their favorite Frozen costumes throughout the week too!

Registration Limits & Last Minute Camp Info:
IN-PERSON: 4 students, per session/group/level/room *unless in phase 3, then up to 8 kids.
VIRTUAL: 4 students, per session/group/level/room *unless in phase 3, then up to 8 kids.
- Registration closes one (1) week prior to the start of Camp. No exceptions.
- Full refunds will be given, should SMAC have to cancel a camp for any reason.
- We have taken extra precautions this summer, in light of COVID-19 and want to reassure you that we are doing everything possible to keep students safe and our space clean, while continuing to give an excellent dance experience.
- For those participating virtually, a special Camp-Kit will be delivered to you prior to your Camp with all the craft materials you and your kiddo will need to participate (when registering, please ensure your address is correctly added).
